The Civil Engineering & Marine Construction Division owns proprietary large derrick and pipelay barge for the construction of marine structures, and is one of the world's leading marine contractors specializing in at-sea constructions.

		KUROSHIO I Kuroshio can carry out marine works on virtually any scale as the vessel is equipped with a large, high-performance, fully rotating derrick crane, advanced anchor facilities and living quarters to accommodate 260 crew members. This is a multi-purpose derrick and pipelay barge for loading of heavy structures.
		KUROSHIO II Kuroshio II is structured to ensure enhanced safety in order to carry out operation under various oceanographic conditions including heavy sea, and in water depths to 200 meters. As shown in the table below, Kuroshio II is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, based on the expertise the Civil Engineering & Marine Construction Division has gained in marine construction projects at home and abroad. Thus, Kuroshio II has systems in place to respond to any marine construction need.
